Awareness at Taj Mahotasav 2024
Jan Chetna Sewa Samiti organised an impactful stall at the Taj Mahotsav on 26 and 27 February 2024 with the support from UPSACS and the endorsement of Commissioner Agra Division Ritu Maheshwari.
Facilitated by the TI project staff the initiative successfully reached and counselled over 2,000 individuals on HIV/AIDS. This significant effort was further bolstered by the participation of sex workers who actively engaged in spreading knowledge and distributing informative leaflets.
The event highlighted the collaborative effort to educate the public about HIV/AIDS, emphasising prevention, treatment and the importance of breaking stigmas associated with the disease.
